Overview

As part of EY’s Funds Tax team in London, you will oversee UK tax reporting for a diverse client base while delivering technically rigorous consulting projects. You will collaborate with cross-service lines to pursue new business and mentor junior staff, shaping efficient, compliant tax solutions. The role blends transfer of knowledge, team leadership, and strategic delivery to support client success. Responsibilities

• Oversee management of UK tax reporting delivered to client base
• Lead delivery of technically complex consulting projects with practical business focus
• Pursue business development opportunities across EY service lines
• Provide development support to juniors through supervision and mentoring
• Contribute to people initiatives, including retention and training of the team
• Manage team strategy and operations, including junior staff development and assignments

Key requirements

• ACA / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification
• Strong tax technical skills
• Business development skills to identify and convert opportunities
• Experience coaching and developing more junior staff
• Knowledge of the taxation of partnerships
• Project management skills, planning, prioritization, deadline achievement, budgeting
