Integration and Systems Validation Lead – Sparkworks

Overview

You will lead trials and testing activities to enable world-leading validation capabilities for UK MoD programs. You work within a cross-functional team focused on hardware testing, model validation, and safety documentation to drive successful trial outcomes. You manage trial conduct, health and safety, and reporting across on-site and off-site deployments, shaping rigorous testing processes. This role offers exposure to diverse environments, from controlled rooms to multi-week overseas deployments, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and continuous capability evolution. Responsibilities

• Agree testing requirements and develop planning and safety documentation
• Develop and build test hardware and conduct trials
• Lead trials conduct and oversee health and safety of personnel during activities
• Produce reports and manage documentation throughout the trial lifecycle
• Support on-site and off-site testing activities, including multi-week deployments
• Maintain and evolve the organisation’s testing capability

Key requirements

• IoT / Electronic design experience desirable (safety, control, diagnostics and measurement)
• Understanding of trials processes and safety management
• Knowledge of verification and validation processes delivering a programme in accordance with the DVP
• Ability to adapt milestones and timescales to changing programmes
• Willingness to undertake DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance
