Senior Technical Proposal Writer

Overview

In this role you will craft enterprise-grade value narratives and reusable content that translate complex technical and commercial inputs into customer-ready proposals. You’ll own the global master content library and ensure messaging, governance, and quality standards across multiple levels of detail. You work closely with Product, Engineering, Value Consultants, CX, Partners, and Sales to articulate Pure solutions’ business value. The position sits at the heart of scalable proposal creation and cross-functional storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Write defined technical, operational and financial value levers for Pure solutions
• Create modular content at executive summary, standard narrative, and detailed technical levels
• Adapt existing Pure content for structured proposal use
• Maintain and evolve the global master content library aligned with roadmaps
• Translate inputs from SMEs into customer-ready value narratives
• Engage SMEs to validate accuracy and secure approvals
• Develop placeholder content for value propositions, proactive proposals, and appendices
• Participate in select live proposal engagements to refine standards
• Co-own content standards and QA processes, ensuring governance and release management
• Establish clear stakeholder communication and approval protocols

Key requirements

• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (storage, compute/virtualization, hybrid cloud, data center, infra operations)
• Ability to engage technical SMEs and interpret architectural concepts
• Experience synthesizing financial concepts into simple narratives
• Experience writing technical, solution or value-based content in an enterprise IT environment
• Experience building reusable, modular content or structured proposal components
• Strong executive writing skills with compelling summaries and appendices
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Services
• Experience driving SME engagement, review cycles and approvals
• Strong version control, content lifecycle and revision management
