Markets Program Management Lead – Vice President

Overview

In this role you will drive transformation programs within Citi’s Markets business, partnering with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Technology and Compliance to deliver strategic initiatives. You’ll manage end-to-end delivery across asset classes, translate business needs into technical outcomes, and ensure governance and readiness for complex changes. This is a hands-on opportunity to affect global markets programs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work at the intersection of business strategy, financial engineering, and technology to support growth and regulatory change.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of global Markets projects across Equities, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities and FX
• Bridge business and technology by mapping data flows and defining project scope and success metrics
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; deliver clear status reports for senior leadership
• Coordinate readiness activities and cross-functional UAT across front-to-back systems
• Maintain rigorous governance with comprehensive documentation, plans, and risk/issue logs

Key requirements

• Proven project management or delivery-focused experience in a global Markets environment across multiple asset classes
• Strong understanding of capital markets, trading lifecycles, market structures, pricing, and risk management principles
• Technical literacy with ability to read system architectures, data models, APIs, and trading/risk platforms
• Experience delivering projects impacting control structures, regulatory compliance (Basel, MiFID, Dodd-Frank) or operational risk
• Analytical problem-solving with a first-principles approach and ability to propose scalable solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication for business and technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or financial discipline or equivalent practical experience
