Software Delivery Team Lead

Overview

In this role you lead the delivery of software across four business-critical mobile apps, coordinating with an outsourced development partner and a collaborative product team. You will run daily stand-ups, track progress, and ensure releases meet quality and timelines. You’ll maintain visibility of risks, dependencies, and delivery progress while working with Product Owners to prioritise requirements. This hands-on leadership role suits someone who blends technical understanding with strong delivery orchestration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate software delivery across four mobile applications
• Manage day-to-day delivery activities with an outsourced development partner
• Run daily stand-ups, track progress and remove delivery blockers
• Work with Product Owners to prioritise requirements and manage schedules
• Ensure releases are delivered efficiently, on time and to quality
• Maintain visibility of progress, risks and dependencies

Key requirements

• Strong technical background in software development or software engineering
• Experience leading or coordinating software delivery teams
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience using JIRA to manage tasks, sprints and progress
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with outsourced or third-party development teams (advantageous)
• Exposure to mobile app delivery (iOS/Android) (beneficial)
