Contentious Insolvency Senior Associate/Director-City Office

Overview

In this role you will handle a broad portfolio of contentious insolvency disputes within a fast-growing regional law firm’s City office. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team, leveraging a strong client base to strengthen the London offering and drive firm growth. You will play a pivotal part in expanding the insolvency practice while maintaining a high-quality, non-political culture. This is an opportunity to blend specialist dispute work with business development and client leadership, shaping the department’s trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of contentious insolvency disputes
• Support and contribute to the expansion of the London offering
• Leverage your personal and firm client base to drive matters and introductions
• Collaborate with non-contentious restructuring, private client and corporate teams
• Demonstrate and develop business development activity to expand the client network
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the team
• Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and client service

Key requirements

• 8+ PQE, England & Wales Qualified
• 8+ insolvency disputes experience within a City or leading national/regional law firm
• Strong personal network to leverage alongside the existing client base
• Business development (BD) track record and interest
