Test Engineering Director

Overview

In this role, you lead the Quality Assurance function for DTCC Digital Assets, establishing standards, governance, and automation to ensure secure, reliable tech solutions. You partner with Engineering, Product, Operations and Business to embed quality across the SDLC and drive continuous improvement. You shape the QA strategy and mentor a high-performing team in a regulated environment. This position offers strategic impact on delivery quality and risk management at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute QA strategy, governance, and testing standards
• Lead and develop a high-performing Quality Engineering team
• Drive quality across SDLC, Agile, and DevOps
• Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for functional, integration, regression, performance, and non-functional testing
• Champion test automation and continuous testing initiatives
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs
• Partner with Technology, Product, Architecture and Business stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and communicate quality risks and drive defect resolution
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of industry best practices
• Support compliance, risk management, and audit requirements in a regulated environment

Key requirements

• 10+ years of Quality Engineering experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Quality Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
