Associate – Real Estate Asset Management

Overview

In this Asset Manager Associate role, you will take genuine ownership of investments across the UK and Europe, collaborating with senior investment professionals and operating partners. You’ll focus on asset strategy, value creation, leasing, capex, and business plans to drive portfolio performance. You will build and analyse financial models, budgets and cash flows to inform Investment Committee reporting. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone ready to contribute to a growing institutional real estate platform.

Responsibilities

• Define asset strategy and drive value creation across the portfolio
• Manage leasing activities, capex programmes and business plans
• Build and maintain financial models, budgets and cash flows
• Monitor portfolio performance, valuations and reporting for senior stakeholders
• Support Investment Committee and senior reporting processes
• Collaborate with operating partners and cross-functional teams across the UK and Europe

Key requirements

• 3–5 years in real estate (investment, asset management, acquisitions or portfolio management) within an institutional platform, REPE fund, REIT or investment manager
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Exposure to value-add real estate
• Multi-asset class experience; operational real estate is an advantage
