Working within the firm’s Risk & Compliance function, the successful candidate will provide practical legal and regulatory advice to partners and stakeholders, helping ensure the firm meets its professional obligations. The position offers a combination of advisory responsibilities, policy development and strategic project work, with the opportunity to contribute to the wider compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on professional conduct, ethics, confidentiality, disclosure obligations and wider regulatory compliance matters.
- Monitor UK legal and regulatory developments, including SRA requirements, and update internal policies and guidance accordingly.
- Support the development and delivery of compliance training and contribute to firmwide risk management initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders on complex compliance matters, providing clear, commercially focused advice.
- Support and guide junior team members while promoting a strong culture of ethical awareness and accountability.
About You
This opportunity would suit a qualified lawyer with 2–4 years’ PQE and experience in risk and compliance, professional regulation or legal ethics, ideally within a leading law firm. Candidates from dedicated Risk & Compliance teams are welcomed, alongside fee earners with relevant regulatory experience seeking to transition into this area.
