This newly defined HR Director role has been created as part of a broader leadership evolution, reflecting the increasing importance of a commercially aligned and forward-looking people strategy; and as a member of the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will shape and deliver the HR agenda, ensuring it supports business growth, organisational effectiveness, and long-term value creation. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, pragmatic and low-ego style will be essential.
To be successful, you will bring proven experience as an HR Director in a mid-sized business or divisional HR leader within a larger organisation, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments. You should be a strong HR generalist with expertise across the full employee lifecycle, including reward, organisational development, and change leadership, and have a track record of operating at senior leadership level, providing strategic input on culture, workforce planning, and organisational design.
Experience operating in fast-paced, high-performance and/ or private equity-backed environments will be highly advantageous; along with being commercially minded with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.
