Job Description:

Cadence is a technology-led lifestyle financial planning firm, built from a blank sheet by experienced planners. No legacy systems, no admin mountain, no pressure to push product. Just proper financial planning for families, business owners and entrepreneurs, with technology doing the heavy lifting and people doing the thinking.

What the role looks like day to day

  • A sensible client load, so you can do your best work for the people you look after
  • Full lifestyle planning, including trusts and inheritance tax, with a technical team behind you
  • An in-house suitability engine and client portal, built to take the admin out of advice
  • A 4-day working week at full pay, with time you manage yourself
  • A quarterly bonus, subject to client outcomes and compliance
  • An intention to offer advisers equity over time
  • Full study support to chartered

You are an established planner, the main adviser to a portfolio of clients, and you have built those relationships over years. You are chartered or close to it, you have at least three years in regulated advice, you are comfortable with technology, and you want to build a long-term career with a firm that plans properly.

Moving firm is a big decision, so we make it as easy as we can. You are paid a strong base from day one, with a bespoke first-year plan and support with business development while you settle in. We never ask anyone to do anything that would breach their current contract or obligations, and we are happy to work around notice periods.

Where and how

Remote-first across the UK, with shared offices in Leeds, London and Brighton. The team meets in person at least once a month.

Base salary: £65,000 to £95,000 depending on experience and grade, plus quarterly bonus.
