FPGA Firmware Engineer (VHDL) – Hybrid/Flexible Hours

Leonardo UK is seeking an FPGA Firmware Engineer to design and develop embedded VHDL firmware for advanced aircraft sensor and communication systems. You will work on high-speed FPGA devices across the product lifecycle, from concept to early production, collaborating with hardware and software engineers.

The role covers requirements capture, FPGA design and verification, and documentation for design reviews, with a focus on safe, structured firmware processes such as DO-254.
