We’re looking for an exceptional Design Manager to lead and elevate Product Design across a growing B2C eCommerce business
You’ll lead a team of four experienced Product Designers and play a key role in raising the quality bar across UX, interaction and visual design, while establishing Design as an equal strategic partner to Product and Engineering.
This is a leadership role for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from helping talented designers become exceptional-someone with outstanding product design judgement, strong craft credibility and the confidence to challenge teams to produce better work.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Coaching and developing an experienced Product Design team
- Creating a strong culture of critique, learning and high standards
- Defining a clear design vision and principles
- Raising UX, interaction and visual design quality across the product experiencePartnering with Product, Engineering, Data & AI leadership to shape product direction
- Strengthening design systems, research and design practices
- Connecting great design with measurable customer and commercial outcomes
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has led and developed experienced Product Designers
- Has exceptional product design judgement and taste
- Thinks in customer problems rather than screens
- Can balance strategic leadership with strong hands-on craft credibility
- Knows when to coach, challenge and step into the work
- Is commercially minded and understands how Design drives business value
- Builds influence through credibility, curiosity and collaboration
