- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Develop meaningful security KPIs and management reports, identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance and operational efficiency.
- Building a Security-First Culture: Deliver cyber security awareness initiatives and provide expert guidance to colleagues, helping embed security best practices throughout the organisation.
We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable cyber security professional who can combine technical understanding with strong communication skills and a practical approach to managing risk.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Strong experience in cyber security operations or security management.
- Good technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies and endpoint security.
- Proven experience managing cyber security incidents, investigations and remediation activities.
- A sound understanding of governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working within operational or regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
It would also be great if you have:

- Previous experience working within aviation, transport or critical infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of NIS/NIS2 regulations or operational technology (OT) security environments.
This is more than an opportunity to manage cyber security operations. It’s a chance to help shape and strengthen security across a complex, multi-site airport environment.
You’ll work with a collaborative technology team, have the opportunity to influence security strategy and play an important role in protecting the systems and services that support our airport operations.
With a choice of being based at Exeter, Norwich or Bournemouth Airport, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your expertise, ideas and initiative to a role where you can make a tangible difference.
