About the Role

The role will join Legend’s Treasury function, reporting to the Group Head of Treasury. As Legend and Genius Sports bring their expertise together, the Treasury function is evolving to support a larger, more complex international business. The postholder will own day-to-day treasury operations, providing visibility of cash position, managing covenant reporting and global banking activities, and ensuring appropriate information, controls and processes are in place. They will also challenge existing processes, introduce smarter ways of working and help build a more efficient, scalable Treasury function through better systems, data and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own short-term liquidity forecasting, strengthen cash visibility across the Group and identify funding needs, risks and opportunities.
  • Take ownership of covenant calculations, compliance monitoring and lender reporting, delivering accurate, forward-looking insights to support financial decisions.
  • Manage banking relationships and administration, account mandates, cash movements and controls, ensuring operations remain accurate, efficient and well-governed.
  • Monitor FX exposures and hedging activities, support financial risk analysis and highlight emerging risks to protect the Group’s financial position.
  • Challenge existing processes, improve forecasting and data quality, strengthen controls and introduce technology and automation to make operations more scalable.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Hands-on treasury experience, with a background in corporate treasury, cash management or corporate finance within a commercial environment, and the confidence to take ownership and deliver independently.
  • Strong cashflow and liquidity expertise, including experience building and managing forecasts, investigating variances and translating financial data into meaningful insights.
  • Knowledge of debt and covenant reporting, with practical experience preparing or managing covenant calculations, monitoring compliance and supporting accurate lender reporting.
  • A solid understanding of treasury operations, including experience managing banking administration, mandates and cash management processes, alongside an understanding of FX exposure and financial risk.
  • An analytical mindset with an eye for improvement, advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, and an interest in using systems, technology and automation to work smarter.
  • Sound judgement and a collaborative approach, with strong attention to detail, the ability to spot and elevate risks, and the confidence to work independently while building relationships across Finance.

The Application Process

The interview process consists of four stages, with initial and team interviews conducted via Zoom and the final conversation held at the St Helier office. Legend encourages applications from candidates who do not meet every qualification listed, and reasonable adjustments are available throughout the application process.

  1. Initial conversation with a Talent Partner: a 30-minute Zoom call to learn about the candidate’s experience and what they are looking for in their next move.
  2. Meet the Finance & Treasury team: a 60-minute Zoom interview to explore treasury expertise, approach to problem-solving and potential contribution to the team.
  3. Practical task and presentation: complete a relevant treasury exercise over a few days and present the approach and recommendations to the team.
  4. Final conversation with the Finance & People team: a 60-minute interview at the St Helier office to explore working style and answer remaining questions.
