W&P Partners Recruitment is acting on behalf of a major international investment group to appoint a Corporate Legal Counsel to its London legal team. This role is ideal for a corporate lawyer seeking an in-house position close to commercial decision-making within an international portfolio.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• 1–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
• Trained at a leading City or international law firm with corporate/M&A experience
• Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and commercial mindset

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Handle acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and strategic investments from structuring and due diligence to completion
• Manage shareholder agreements, investment documentation, and JV partner relationships
• Handle corporate governance, board matters, subsidiary management, and group restructurings
• Instruct and manage external counsel on specialist issues and transactions
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements supporting the group’s businesses
