Compliance Officer

A financial services firm is hiring an two people in their compliance operations business, a junior and a senior, to help build out the function, drafting policies and working across a broad range of generalist compliance activities.

The Role

You’ll own the firm’s compliance policies and procedures, updating and writing them from scratch where needed, and support the wider compliance function across personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, incident management and the compliance monitoring programme. It’s a hands-on role in growing team so the incoming people will need to be proactive and work autonomously.

Requirements

• Strong compliance foundations in financial services
• Experience drafting and writing policies & procedures, ideally from scratch
• Track record of delivering change projects to tight deadlines
• Experience across personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, and incident management
• Exposure to compliance monitoring programmes and compliance frameworksAble to work independently
• Diligent, with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and comfortable working things out without instructions
