This is a hands‑on role at the heart of a growing automation and innovation team, with end‑to‑end ownership of machinery that solves real‑world manufacturing problems.
With in‑house fabrication, machining and electrical integration capabilities, this business delivers complete systems under one roof‑ ranging from high‑speed ultrasonic cutting to robotics and 3D vision inspection. Their clients span sectors such as food and beverage, automotive and packaging, and each project is a one‑off.

What You’ll Do
- Design bespoke automated machinery using 3D CAD
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings for manufacture
- Design integrated mechanical systems
- Collaborate with controls and electrical teams to develop complete robotic and automated cells
- Participate in build, testing, commissioning and client acceptance
What You’ll Bring
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience in automation machinery
- CAD proficiency (Inventor or similar)
- Strong understanding of motion systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Practical mindset and willingness to get involved on the shop floor
- Knowledge of robotics, vision systems or ultrasonic/waterjet cutting would be a bonus
