Overview

As a Project Controls Scheduler at Jacobs, you will shape integrated programme plans for major infrastructure projects, linking design, engineering, procurement and construction. You’ll translate complex data into clear schedules that help teams anticipate risks and make informed decisions. You will challenge assumptions, forecast delivery, and support leaders and clients in prioritising work. This hybrid, collaborative role offers the chance to impact delivery confidence on high-profile programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end project schedules and integrated programmes
• Identify dependencies and emerging risks across design, engineering, procurement and construction
• Apply Primavera P6 for critical-path analysis and schedule forecasting
• Communicate schedule insights to non-planning stakeholders
• Challenge assumptions and highlight gaps or inconsistencies in programmes
• Support project leaders and clients in prioritising changes and programme performance

Key requirements

• Practical planning/scheduling experience in infrastructure or major projects
• Leading end-to-end schedule development on infrastructure projects using Primavera P6
• Ability to break complex activities into milestones and dependencies
• Ability to question assumptions and identify risks
• Strong communication to explain schedule information to non-planners
• Collaborative approach and stakeholder relationship skills
