Job Description:

Overview

In this role you will shape and secure the next generation of enterprise, cloud, platform, and AI-enabled technologies at PlayStation. You will partner with engineering, infrastructure, product, and security teams to identify systemic risk and drive scalable security patterns. You will influence technical direction across global environments and help secure emerging capabilities, including generative AI and agentic systems. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends architecture with practical engineering judgment to protect critical systems and data. You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment that values innovation, reliability, and secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, review, and approve security architectures for enterprise, cloud, SaaS, platform, and application environments
  • Lead cloud security architecture across AWS, Google Cloud, and hybrid setups (identity, network security, data protection, logging/monitoring, KMS, workload isolation, security controls)
  • Define and review security architecture for SaaS/PaaS platforms (identity federation, access, data protection, API security, logging, third-party risk)
  • Drive security across the software delivery lifecycle (CI/CD, IaC, secrets management, code signing, deployment security, developer platform security)
  • Lead security architecture for AI-enabled systems (generative AI, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, model-serving)
  • Design mitigations for risks like prompt injection, data disclosure, model/data supply-chain risk, unsafe outputs, tool abuse
  • Define security requirements for AI data/models/prompts/embeddings/tools and ensure least privilege, encryption, isolation, logging
  • Architect and improve identity, authentication, authorization, network security, key management, cryptography, production security controls
  • Identify security design gaps and translate findings into practical patterns, hardening standards, and automation
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, communicating risks and tradeoffs to non-security stakeholders

Key requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in security architecture or related fields with senior/staff level leadership
  • Deep knowledge of security architecture across cloud, application, network, identity, platform, and enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based and containerized environments on major clouds (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Strong understanding of IAM, PKI, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, TLS, VPNs, secrets management, KMS, HSMs
  • Expertise in network and application security controls (WAFs, NGFWs, segmentation, DDoS mitigation, proxies, IDS/IPS)
  • Experience with secure software development, threat modeling, CI/CD, and secure developer platforms
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML security concepts for generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems
  • Strong critical thinking, risk prioritization, communication, and influence skills in global, cross-functional environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience
  • strong communication
  • influence and leadership
  • risk prioritization
  • cloud security (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • identity and access management
