Professional Support Lawyer – Property

Overview

In this Professional Support Lawyer role, you will strengthen the Commercial and Residential Property teams with expert knowledge, precedents, and training. You’ll manage knowledge resources, provide complex property guidance, and monitor legislative changes. You will lead training, support trainee induction, and contribute to client briefings and thought leadership. The position emphasizes legal-technology adoption and workflow improvements to enhance knowledge sharing across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain precedents, templates, and legal guidance for property matters
• Provide technical support on complex property issues and monitor legislative developments
• Lead training and development across Property teams and support trainee induction
• Deliver updates on legislation including leasehold reform and Stamp Duty Land Tax
• Support legal technology adoption, document automation, and improvements to workflows and knowledge-sharing processes
• Contribute to client briefings, pitches, and thought leadership

Key requirements

• 6+ years’ PQE in Commercial and/or Residential Property
• Previous PSL experience or strong fee-earning background
• Interest in moving into a PSL/knowledge-focused role
• Experience across landlord and tenant, title matters, property development and conveyancing
• Ability to manage knowledge resources and provide training and technical support
