Cyber Security Information Assurance Lead (Pre Ops)

Overview

In this role you shape the cyber security readiness of Hinkley Point C for safe operations within a regulated nuclear environment. You lead the design and implementation of cyber security arrangements, ensuring compliance and resilience across operational systems. You work with internal and external stakeholders to drive readiness, governance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of operational cyber security arrangements for Hinkley Point C
• Establish security controls, standards and processes to support transition into operations
• Manage cyber security risks with effective mitigation strategies
• Provide leadership and oversight for cyber security activities across the site
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and operational readiness
• Support protection of critical operational and industrial control systems
• Drive continual improvement in cyber security capability, governance and culture

Key requirements

• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Experience in regulated environments; nuclear industry experience desirable
• Track record in developing and implementing operational cyber security arrangements
• Strong cyber security risk management experience in complex operational settings
• Self-management and ability to work independently with effective prioritisation
• Stakeholder influence and cross-team collaboration to achieve cyber outcomes
• Operational technology (OT) experience desirable
• Ability to meet Security Clearance requirements (SC) and UK residency in last five years
