Resource Management Specialist

Overview

In this role you will support staffing and deployment of consultants across client engagements within a fast-paced professional services environment. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and employees to understand development needs, career aspirations, and project requirements. You will provide staffing recommendations aligned with business priorities and employee growth, while monitoring capacity, utilisation, and project demand. You will support performance and professional development processes, including promotions, reviews, onboarding, and talent planning. Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day staffing and deployment of consultants across client engagements
• Build relationships with stakeholders and employees to understand development needs, career aspirations, and project requirements
• Provide staffing recommendations balancing business priorities with employee development
• Monitor resource capacity, utilisation, and project demand
• Support performance and professional development processes (promotions, reviews, onboarding, talent planning)
• Act as a trusted point of contact for consultant population and wider business stakeholders

Key requirements

• 2 years minimum experience in staffing, resource management, workforce planning, talent deployment, recruitment operations, or similar people-focused role
• Experience in a mid-sized to global consultancy, professional services firm, or fast-paced commercial environment is desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to balance people and business needs
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with proactive and collaborative approach
