Physical Security Systems Specialist

Overview

In this role you will shape and deliver physical security solutions across UK & EMEA, focusing on access control, CCTV and related technologies. You will collaborate with IT, Facilities, Real Estate and regional teams to deliver secure, compliant systems and ongoing improvements. You’ll lead regional projects, maintain documentation and support audits, enabling safe, efficient operations for employees and assets. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven position in a collaborative, people-first culture with global reach.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and lifecycle manage regional access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm and visitor management systems
• Lead regional security projects including upgrades, expansions and new installations within scope, budget, and timeline
• Maintain accurate site security documentation and system records
• Track, report and manage risks and deliverables of projects
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and partners across the region
• Ensure reliable operation and performance of security systems across the EMEA region
• Collaborate with Physical Security, IT, Facilities and Real Estate to deliver scalable solutions
• Manage badging inventory and support issuance/replacement of access credentials
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors and service providers
• Maintain documentation of installations, configurations and maintenance activities
• Support internal audits and ISO 27001 / ISO 22301 compliance and access governance
• Partner with regional service providers and system integrators to support objectives
• Provide subject matter expertise and consultative support to regional/local units
• Work with Corporate Real Estate and Facilities to embed security in office projects
• Deliver end-user training and promote security awareness across the region
• Engage local security champions to enhance adoption of security practices

Key requirements

• Extensive experience and knowledge of physical security systems and technologies
• General knowledge of physical security hardware, low voltage systems and security networking
• Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills across diverse cultures
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
