Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you will partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex needs into clear requirements, shaping transformation programs in national security. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable solutions and operating models, contributing to high-stakes projects across AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Digital Transformation. You’ll elevate business processes, maintain traceability, and support bids, delivering clarity to challenging client problems. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position in a collaborative, continuously-learning environment with a strong emphasis on impact and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders to elicit, analyse and validate business requirements
• Translate business needs into documentation, requirements and user stories
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and delivery teams to shape secure and scalable solutions
• Support the design and implementation of Target Operating Models and transformation roadmaps
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Contribute to business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Support bids and proposals, providing insight to complex client challenges

Key requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst within secure or complex environments (e.g., Defence, Intelligence, Law Enforcement)
• Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks and methodologies (BABOK, Agile, Waterfall, SAFe)
• Experience in business process modelling (BPMN, UML) and requirements management tools
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
