Principal Architect

Overview

As Principal Architect at Virtusa, you will bridge sales, clients, and technology capabilities to translate business goals into winning solutions. You’ll shape innovative technology strategies for key accounts under the DTAG umbrella, ensuring technical viability and alignment with client objectives. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate proposals and bookings while keeping pace with emerging tech trends. This role leverages deep domain knowledge across BFSI, Telco, and Life Sciences to deliver impactful, scalable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with sales and commercial teams to capture client needs and constraints
• Provide technical credibility to clients and ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives
• Design and recommend viable, innovative technology solutions
• Support sales through technical expertise in meetings and proposals to drive bookings
• Maintain up-to-date domain knowledge and collaborate with capability, service lines, and offers teams
• Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing with peers

Key requirements

• 15 years of experience (as indicated)
• Deep domain knowledge in BFSI, Telco, and Life Sciences
• Strong understanding of multiple technologies and solution design
• Ability to engage stakeholders and translate requirements into solutions
