REPORTING TO: General Manager
HOURS: Full- Time hours working 5 days out of 7.
Fratelli Belfast is looking for an energetic and people-focused Restaurant Ambassador & Restaurant Manager to play a key role in driving the success of the restaurant.
This unique position combines hands‑on restaurant leadership with local business development and community engagement. You’ll spend approximately three days per week managing and supporting the restaurant operation, with the remaining two days dedicated to building relationships across Belfast to generate new business, increase awareness and drive revenue growth.
This is not a traditional sales role. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys meeting people and can become a genuine ambassador for the Fratelli brand.
The Role
- Lead and support day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
- Coach, motivate and develop team members.
- Manage guest feedback and service recovery.
- Drive operational performance, sales and profitability.
- Support the General Manager in achieving restaurant objectives.
Brand Ambassador & Business Development
- Build relationships with local businesses, hotels, retailers, attractions and community groups.
- Generate new opportunities for bookings, events and repeat business.
- Represent Fratelli Belfast at networking and community events.
- Promote the restaurant as a destination for dining, celebrations and special occasions.
- Identify local partnerships and promotional opportunities.
- Increase awareness of the Fratelli brand throughout Belfast.
About You
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience.
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about hospitality and guest service.
- Commercially minded and results driven.
- Confident working independently and within a team.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated.
- Full driving licence preferred.
What Success Looks Like
The primary objective of this role is to increase restaurant revenue through operational excellence, local business development and community engagement.
Success will be measured by:
- Growth in restaurant revenue, covers and average spend.
- Increased lunchtime, midweek and off-peak trade.
- Growth in group dining and celebration bookings.
- Development of strong local business relationships and partnerships.
- Increased awareness of Fratelli Belfast within the local community.
- High guest satisfaction scores and positive reviews.
- A motivated, engaged and high-performing team.
