AWE is offering a Technician Scientist (Chemistry) Apprenticeship in the Reading area, based at Aldermaston and Burghfield sites. You will undertake practical laboratory work, learn from experts, and develop core chemistry skills within a structured 36-month programme.
During the apprenticeship you’ll gain experience in materials science or engineering-linked areas, with a strong emphasis on safety, data handling, and problem-solving while contributing to national security objectives.
