Established over 10 years ago, UTM Consultants is a specialist recruitment and workforce partner to the global offshore energy industry. We connect skilled professionals with projects across offshore wind, renewables, marine, survey, inspection and the wider energy sector.
We are looking for ambitious people to join our growing Survey team, build lasting relationships with international clients and specialist candidates, and develop a rewarding career in recruitment.
Previous recruitment experience is not essential. We will provide the training, coaching and support to help you succeed.
The Opportunity
Recruitment is a fast paced, target driven sales career.
You will find specialist candidates, win business and manage placements on offshore projects around the world.
Success takes persistence, confidence and a willingness to pick up the phone. You will need to handle rejection, learn from feedback and stay focused when things do not go to plan.
In return, you will have uncapped earning potential and opportunities to take ownership of your own specialist market.
Experience in sales, estate agency, business development, hospitality or retail could give you a strong starting point. We also welcome applicants taking their first step into a commercial career.
What You Will Be Doing
With training and support, you will learn to:
- Find and engage specialist candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, our CRM and professional networks.
- Assess candidates skills, experience and availability against client requirements.
- Build lasting relationships with candidates and international clients.
- Develop existing accounts and approach prospective clients to win new business.
- Negotiate rates and commercial terms.
- Manage the recruitment process from the initial requirement through to placement.
- Keep candidate, client and compliance records accurate and up to date.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will take greater ownership of your accounts, placements and results.
