Benefits: Hybrid car or EV & full benefitsThe role of the Sales Engineer – Electrical Equipment will involve:·
Field sales position selling a manufactured range of electrical equipment including; energy distribution, wiring accessories, lighting connection & control and building automation·
40% of your time stimulating demand for these products via electrical installers/ sub-contractors (you will inherit circa 60 warm relationships with installers on the area)·
60% managing relationships with circa 90-110 electrical wholesalers on patch·
Responsible for an area achieving circa £8m turnover·
Demand generation is key to this role·
Four days on the road visiting customers, one day working from home/ administration·
Typically 4 customer visits per dayThe ideal applicant will be a sales Engineer – Electrical Equipment with:·
Field sales experience within the electrical sector·
Must have created demand with electrical installers/ electrical sub-contractors and ideally managed and built relationships with electrical wholesalers·
Open on electrical product backgrounds·
Any knowledge of; energy distribution, wiring accessories, lighting connection & control and building automation may be beneficial but not essential·
Demonstrable track record in new business and account management·
