Job Description:

Senior Product Manager / Permanent / Onsite Munich / Start ASAP

The role

You own a product, not a backlog. The platform is expanding beyond inside sales; you shape where it goes. You set the direction, make the trade-offs and own adoption and revenue for your modules. Engineers own delivery; they build with AI agents and ship in days. What they need from you is clarity: business impact, framed problems, data, trade-offs.

What you’ll do

  • Develop the strategy for your part of the product: where it goes, why, and what it will not do.
  • Create a plan as guidance, and be ready to throw it away when experiments and customer learnings say so.
  • Build, not just decide: Instead of writing long specs, ship small changes yourself when that is the fastest way to learn, and put working software in front of users early.
  • Run product operations and your own work AI-first, not just the product: discovery synthesis, analytics, documentation and internal processes are automated wherever possible, with the quality bar of an expert. No AI slop.
  • Set priorities and make the hard calls, including scope or stop decisions.
  • Do discovery where the work happens: on site with teams at manufacturers. Bring back framed problems with evidence, not feature requests.
  • Hold the room with senior industrial buyers: be a credible expert in their domain, say no when needed and have them leave feeling heard.

What you must bring

  • A track record of owning a product: you set the direction, made the trade-offs and owned the outcome. Ideally 0 to 1 or 1 to 10, best case AI-first.
  • B2B SaaS experience with complex workflows: your users did a demanding daily job with your product.
  • You build with AI: prototypes, coding agents, AI in discovery and insight work. You are comfortable going into the codebase yourself (AI-assisted) to test an idea, read what is there or ship a small change.
  • AI-first as a habit: you automate your own product ops and internal work, and you can tell good AI output from plausible-looking junk.
  • Design and UX judgment for dense, data-heavy software.
  • Stakeholder management with C-level and demanding users at manufacturers, and the standing to be the expert in a room with 30 years of industry experience.
  • Munich on-site. German at native level (C1+) and fluent English; discovery and stakeholder sessions run in German.
