Lead Environmental Health Officer – Residential Building Safety

Tower Hamlets Council is seeking a Principal Environmental Health Officer to lead a team of EHOs and drive building safety outcomes in high‑risk residential settings. You will supervise casework, prioritise tasks with the programme lead and oversee technical inspections and enforcement actions.

The role requires an EH qualification with EHRB registration, strong knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022, and a track record in housing enforcement. A fixed-term contract for 24 months is offered.
