Private Equity Associate

We are engaging with an established private equity investment firm regarding potential opportunities within its London investment team.

The opportunity would suit an investment professional looking to develop their career in private equity, with exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from evaluating new opportunities and executing transactions to supporting portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis.
• Support transaction execution, including financial and commercial due diligence, investment committee materials and deal structuring.
• Conduct market research, industry analysis and investment screening.
• Work alongside investment professionals, management teams and external advisers throughout the investment process.
• Support portfolio company monitoring, strategic initiatives and value creation projects.
• Contribute to the identification and assessment of new investment opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity or transaction-focused consulting.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Understanding of M&A transactions, financial due diligence and investment processes.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in working closely with portfolio companies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative investment environment.
• Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career in private equity.
