BE FIRST. BUILD WHAT’S NEXT.
Most sales jobs give you a territory someone else built. This one gives you the chance to build it. Net World Sports is the team behind FORZA, the sports equipment brand trusted by clubs, schools and backyard athletes in more than 100 countries. We’re headquartered in Wrexham, Wales (yes, that Wrexham), and our gear is already stocked in the USA at our 292,500 sq ft distribution center in London, Ohio. We supply the majority of MLS and USL clubs.
What we don’t have yet is a US sales team. You’ll be the first.
LET’S BE STRAIGHT. This isn’t a job where the title does the work. It’s an early-career sales role where what you earn is driven by what you sell: a solid base, uncapped commission and the chance to be first. If you’re hungry, competitive and can see where this could go, you’ll be first in line as the US team grows.
WHY THIS ROLE
Be first. Our first US sales hire. Your ideas will shape how FORZA sells across America, from the language we use to the customers we go after. One team, two sides of the Atlantic. You’ll join our established sales team with the same training, targets and support. You’ll work US hours with daily overlap with the UK team, so you’re never on your own. Start at HQ. You’ll spend your onboarding with the team in Wrexham, learning the products, systems and people behind the brand. Real upside. Uncapped commission, and as the US team grows, so do you. Senior and Team Lead opportunities are based on performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and grow our existing US customer base: re-engage lapsed accounts and drive repeat orders through regular contact and tailored recommendations.
- Turn warm inquiries and quotes into orders, spotting upsell opportunities along the way.
- Prospect new accounts by phone and email: soccer clubs, school and college athletic departments, rec and travel leagues, facilities and corporate buyers.
- Keep the wider team ahead of the US sports calendar. We’ll want your voice on when the key seasons, events and buying windows land (spring season, back-to-school, fall, school budget cycles) and where the team should focus its efforts.
- Run discovery calls to understand budgets, decision-makers, timelines and who you’re up against.
- Build and manage your own pipeline, and keep accurate records of customers, quotes and orders.
- Deliver a standout customer experience by phone, email and live chat, and in person at customer visits and trade shows.
- Work with our Ohio distribution center on stock, lead times and deliveries, and keep customers updated from order to delivery.
- Handle custom and bespoke requests by getting supplier quotes and managing orders through to completion.
- Be the voice of the American customer. Share insight on US sports, terminology and buying habits with our Product, Marketing and Customer Service teams, and help shape how we sell in the US.
- Hit and beat your monthly activity, quote and revenue targets as part of the wider sales team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 1–3 years in sales, account management or a customer-facing role (B2B a plus). Recent grad with a competitive streak? We want to hear from you.
- You live and breathe sports. Former college athletes, coaches, refs and club volunteers get bonus points.
- Competitive and target-driven. You like winning, and you like keeping score.
- A self-starter who thrives working remotely: organized, disciplined and good at managing your own day.
- Confident on the phone, clear in writing and a great listener.
- Full of ideas, with the confidence to share them.
- Comfortable picking up new systems. We’ll train you on ours.
- Happy to travel occasionally for customer visits, trade shows and trips to HQ.
- Authorized to work in the United States. We’re unable to sponsor visas.
- Bonus points: experience in sporting goods, athletics or education; knowledge of US competitor products and pricing; a bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required).
