Senior Director Supply Chain and Procurement EMEA

Overview

In this role you will define and execute the EMEA supply chain and procurement strategy to deliver cost reductions and value optimization. You will lead sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier governance, ensuring alignment with uptime priorities and operational needs. You will own procurement risk management and drive standardisation and transformation across a scalable organization. You will participate in leadership forums and act as the EMEA representative in global supply chain programs, shaping regional and global initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute EMEA procurement strategy and governance
• Lead sourcing, RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier consolidation
• Establish supplier KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks
• Ensure procurement aligns with operational uptime priorities
• Own supply chain risk management and resilience strategies
• Standardise procurement processes, controls, and contract governance
• Build and lead a scalable, high-performing procurement organisation
• Drive procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in regional and global leadership forums
• Support strategic operational initiatives
• Act as EMEA representative in global supply chain programme

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive senior-level procurement or supply chain leadership experience
• MCIPS, Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional; or equivalent accreditation
• Senior leadership experience in supply chain or procurement at scale
• Strong commercial and contract management capability
• Experience supporting critical infrastructure or industrial operations
• Proven delivery of cost savings and transformation initiatives
