Overview

As Security Officer at Andaz London Liverpool Street, you ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. You patrol the property, respond to incidents, and manage access control to protect people and assets. This on-call role offers flexible hours, aligning with your availability while contributing to a high-end hospitality experience. You work with cross-functional teams to uphold safety standards and guest satisfaction, within a renowned Hyatt hospitality property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant vigilance across the property, especially entrances and exits
• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly and professionally
• Manage staff ID cards and access control administration
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain security records
• Support in staff induction, fire safety training, and security awareness training
• Operate CCTV systems in compliance with data protection
• Record and manage lost property and related enquiries
• Assist with other reasonable requests within the business

Key requirements

• Previous security experience preferred
• Strong communication, reliability, and calmness under pressure
• SIA licence and CCTV or access control experience advantageous
