Job Description:
NHS Scotland’s Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway is seeking an experienced HCPC Biomedical Scientist to lead Blood Sciences & Transfusion. The role covers Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion with cross-training potential and a focus on service development under a new contract.
The Lead Biomedical Scientist will organise the department, supervise staff, develop policies and SOPs, and contribute to the modernisation programme while working 36 hours per week in a remote island setting.
