Ready for your next step in leadership and management?

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our management team as Deputy Practice Manager.

Working closely with the Practice Manager and GP Partners, you will take the lead on quality, clinical governance, complaints and patient experience, while also supporting the wider operational and people management of the practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with management, supervisory or leadership experience who is looking for a varied and rewarding role within primary care. We also welcome applications from experienced general practice staff who are ready to take the next step in their career and move into a formal management position.

The role will include:

  • Leading our quality, governance and complaints processes.
  • Supporting significant events, risk management, quality improvement and CQC readiness.
  • Helping to improve systems, processes and patient experience.
  • Supporting operational and staff management matters.
  • Taking ownership of projects and areas of responsibility.
  • Supporting and deputising for the Practice Manager as appropriate.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, sound judgement and the confidence to use their initiative when addressing challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will be comfortable working with colleagues at all levels, able to manage competing priorities and committed to delivering high-quality services for patients and staff.

Previous experience within general practice or the NHS would be advantageous but is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong leadership potential, transferable management skills and a willingness to learn and develop within a primary care setting.

This is an opportunity to broaden your management experience, develop new skills and become a key member of our leadership team. As the practice continues to evolve, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility and further develop your career.
