What Will You Be Doing?
- Setting and operating multi-axis CNC milling machines.
- Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
- Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings.
- Carrying out dimensional checks and inspecting your own work.
- Using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Making adjustments to machining processes where required.
- Identifying and resolving machining issues to minimise downtime.
- Working closely with colleagues to meet production requirements.
- Supporting machine maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
What Experience Do You Need?
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Machinist or CNC Setter/Operator.
- Hands-on experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC milling machines.
- A good understanding of machining processes and precision engineering.
- The ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- Confidence using measuring and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Experience within aerospace or another high-precision manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
