Deputy Manager

A leading luxury accessories retailer is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Deputy Manager to join one of its flagship locations in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate retail leader to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales performance, and developing a high-performing team within a premium retail environment. With a strong focus on clienteling, service excellence and operational standards, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the store consistently exceeds expectations while embodying the brand’s luxury values.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the business
• Leading, coaching and motivating the team to deliver outstanding customer service
• Driving sales performance and maximising commercial opportunities
• Building long-term relationships with clients and delivering a personalised shopping experience
• Monitoring KPIs and implementing action plans to achieve targets
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards reflect the luxury brand image
• Overseeing stock management, replenishment, and loss prevention procedures
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
• Taking responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or equivalent within premium or luxury retail
• A strong track record of delivering results through people
• Passion for luxury products and providing exceptional customer experiences
• Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse and act on key business metrics
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and operational capabilities
• A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment

The salary is paying up to £38,000
