The business is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridgeshire region. n With a robust pipeline of work across Cambridge, specifically within the Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors. n The successful candidate will initially take the commercial lead on a Higher Education project in Cambridge and a mixed-use project in the local area, both valued between c£2m-£10m. n The business is known for its supportive culture and their successful track record in the local area. n Duties & Responsibilities n As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for daily commercial management functions, including: n n Sub-contract enquiries, procurement, and order placement. n Accurate measurement and valuations of work on-site. n Timely applications for payment and reconciling accounts. n Managing variations and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. n Settling final accounts and ensuring practical completion is met commercially. n n Desirable Experience & Qualifications n To be successful in this role, you should possess: n n Experience: Minimum 7+ years as a QS within a Main Contractor. n Contracts: Essential experience using JCTcontracts. n Education: BSc in Quantity Surveying or a comparable qualification. n Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. n Background: Previous experience as an Quantity Surveyor, Project QS, or Senior Quantity Surveyor. n n Application Process n If you are interested in this exclusive opportunity or would like to discuss other vacancies within the East Anglia construction market, please email your current CV to Jess Quinn. n All applications will be reviewed, and successful candidates will be contacted within 48 hours. n Services advertised by Apple Technical Recruitment are that of an Employment Agency/Business. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
