Job Description Senior Refrigeration Engineern Location: Leeds, York & Along the A1 Salary: £53,000+ per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm The Opportunityn An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Senior Refrigeration Engineers to join a growing refrigeration business experiencing significant growth across new projects and long-term service contracts. n The business is looking for experienced CO2 Refrigeration Engineers across Leeds, York and along the A1, offering competitive salaries, excellent benefits and long-term career development opportunities. The Rolen You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing large-scale commercial and industrial refrigeration systems across a variety of sites, including: n n n Food processing and manufacturing facilities n n Distribution centres and logistics sites n n Large cold stores and warehouses n n Factories, industrial facilities and ripening rooms n n Systems will include CO2, Freon and chilled water applications. Ammonia experience is advantageous but not essential. Key Responsibilitiesn n n Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems. n n Diagnose and resolve refrigeration and electrical faults. n n Ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. n n Complete service reports and relevant documentation. n n Follow Health & Safety procedures and approved working practices. n n Liaise with customers and internal teams to deliver excellent service. n n Manage workloads independently and meet deadlines. n Skills & Experiencen The ideal candidate will have: n n n Minimum 5 years’ refrigeration engineering experience. n n Strong commercial or industrial refrigeration experience, particularly CO2. n n Previous Senior Engineer experience. n n City & Guilds Refrigerant Handling / F-Gas 2079 qualification. n n Strong electrical controls and fault-finding skills. n n Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements. n n CSCS accreditation and MEWP experience. n n Full UK driving licence. n n Good communication, customer service and IT skills. n Salary & Benefitsn n n £53,000+ basic salary, depending on experience. n n Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. n n Flexible start and finish times. n n Overtime paid after 40 hours. n n Full door-to-door pay. n n 1 in 4 on-call rota, reducing as the team grows. n n £225 weekly on-call standby payment. n n 33 days’ holiday, including bank holidays. n n Contributory company pension. n n Private healthcare, Health Support Scheme and Death in Service benefit following successful probation. n Interested?n If you’re an experienced Senior Refrigeration Engineer with strong CO2 knowledge and are looking for your next career move, apply today to find out more. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
