Information Manager with Digital Design Experience

Overview

In this role, you will lead information management and digital delivery for major UK water projects, ensuring data quality, governance and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. You’ll implement Common Data Environments and ISO 19650 workflows to drive digital transformation and project outcomes. You will mentor colleagues and shape standards across the water business, contributing to resilient, sustainable infrastructure. This is a hands-on role within a growing digital delivery community.

Responsibilities

• Lead information management and digital delivery activities on multidisciplinary projects
• Establish and oversee Common Data Environments (CDEs) and project information workflows
• Guide teams in applying ISO 19650 principles and governance across the project lifecycle
• Drive consistency, quality and compliance of project information and digital deliverables
• Support digital innovation initiatives and embed standards, processes and workflows
• Mentor and develop capability within BIM and information management communities
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers and clients to enable informed decisions

Key requirements

• Experience in Information Management, BIM, Digital Engineering or Digital Delivery in water, infrastructure or built environments
• Proven leadership in information management and digital delivery on multidisciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 with practitioner certification or equivalent
• Experience establishing and governing CDEs and information workflows
• Knowledge of BIM processes and collaborative digital delivery methods
• Experience with Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk solutions, Asite or similar platforms
• Experience coordinating design information, data exchanges and deliverables to client requirements
• Understanding of model coordination, federated reviews, issue management and clash detection
• Working knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a focus on continuous improvement and quality
