Production Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will oversee the day-to-day production team in Cardiff, ensuring smooth operations and deputizing for the Value Stream Leader when needed. You will apply the Danaher Business System to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and coordinate sign-offs and deviations within the QMS. You’ll lead resource management and train contingent workers, contributing to life-saving outcomes through efficient manufacturing. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and resources
• Recruit and train contingent workers and deputize for the Value Stream Leader
• Complete product sign-off and raise deviations in the QMS; collaborate with QA/Value Stream Leader to resolve
• Apply Danaher Business System tools to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets

Key requirements

• BSc in related scientific field or equivalent manufacturing/laboratory experience
• Proven organisational skills and effective written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of QMS and ISO13485 or ISO9001 standards
