Financial Accountant (Renewable Energy)

Overview

In this newly created role, you will support the Financial Controller and Commercial/Reporting Finance Manager to drive accurate reporting and financial insight as a high-growth renewables business scales. You will deliver monthly management accounts with commentary, statutory accounts, and cash-flow forecasting, helping the team plan and monitor performance. The role sits at the heart of a fast-evolving company expanding into new markets, offering hands-on exposure to growth, project accounting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary
• Prepare statutory accounts aligned with accounting standards
• Monitor budgets versus actuals
• Forecast cash flow and liquidity
• Perform project accounting
• Support reporting and commercial finance processes

• Exposure to financial reporting in a growing business
