Data Centres, Valuation Surveyor / Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support a growing Data Centre Valuation & Advisory team, delivering financial modelling, valuations and investment analysis for data centres and other income assets. You will work across the UK, EMEA and international markets, building sophisticated models and reports for institutional clients. The position offers exposure to major international projects and the chance to develop technical expertise in a fast-growing sector. You join a specialist, expanding team with strong potential for progression and impact in digital infrastructure advisory.

Responsibilities

• Build, review and refine complex financial models with emphasis on DCF and ARGUS Enterprise/Developer
• Value operational data centres, development assets and investment portfolios
• Analyse financial performance, capex and development assumptions
• Support transaction underwriting, commercial due diligence, secured lending and financial reporting
• Review financial statements, construction contracts, operating agreements and other docs
• Produce valuations and investment analysis reports for institutional investors, lenders and private equity clients

Key requirements

• Strong financial modelling capabilities with advanced Excel
• Experience using ARGUS Enterprise and/or ARGUS Developer in valuation/investment contexts
• Valuation or analysis experience in data centres or other operational real estate assets
• Solid understanding of investment valuation methodologies, income analysis and cash flow forecasting
• Background in commercial valuation, investment analysis, or real estate advisory
• MRICS qualification or progress towards chartership advantageous
