Program Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead technical space projects from bid through execution, ensuring time, budget, and quality targets align with customer goals. You will work with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and validation to drive successful delivery. The position sits at the heart of a growing space technology company delivering satellite systems, space sensors, and communications tech for international clients. You will help shape proposals, manage risks, and advocate for effective project execution while solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage project lifecycles, work packages, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate technical, production, validation, and quality teams
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
• Support proposals, contract negotiations, and new business opportunities
• Drive schedule performance and effective project delivery
• Collaborate across teams to ensure customer objectives are met

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience managing technical projects
• Direct experience in space flight hardware and/or software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project scheduling tools and budget management
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to varied audiences
