Project Management Specialist

Overview

As a Project Management Specialist in IM&T, you lead complex projects up to 7m, guiding governance, risk, and delivery to transform the portfolio. You act as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders, mentor project managers, and ensure on-time, quality outcomes. You’ll work within a forward-thinking, digitally transforming team delivering technology-led solutions. Responsibilities

• Define and lead project delivery strategy, governance and best practices across the IM&T portfolio
• Interface between business and technical stakeholders to align scope and objectives
• Provide leadership, mentoring and oversight to project managers
• Lead planning and financial management activities including estimation, scheduling, business cases, budgeting and forecasting
• Own governance, lifecycle management, documentation and project assurance

Key requirements

• APM PMQ (or equivalent) or demonstrable experience delivering complex projects
• Proven track record leading high-value, complex projects and programmes
• Experience in large, matrix organizations, ideally within IM&T, engineering, manufacturing or other technical environments
• Extensive expertise in governance, planning, financial management and delivery of multiple complex change initiatives
