Technology Operations Manager

Overview

In this Technology Operations role, you act as a generalist across data work, process improvement and operational coordination to support engineering health. You own end‑to‑end reporting and interact with senior managers, translating analytics into actionable insights. You’ll contribute to process redesign and resilience work, while building cross‑team relationships. The role combines analytics, governance, and operational excellence at a firm redefining research‑driven finance.

Responsibilities

• Owning recurring operational and productivity reporting end-to-end
• Engaging with senior managers on ad hoc data requests
• Supporting operational effectiveness initiatives such as process redesign
• Owning day-to-day operational hygiene and resilience tasks
• Flagging emerging issues to the Operations Director
• Building strong relationships across technology teams

Key requirements

• Generalist across data work, process improvement and operational coordination
• Experience owning analytical work end-to-end
• Understanding of AI-enabled development and judgement on its use
• Systems thinking to connect metrics, processes, and governance
• Strong communication, able to engage with senior managers
• Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and identify approaches
• Practical experience in business analytics or operations in fast-paced environments
• Strong technical capability, e.g., Python and SQL
