Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to deliver practical legal advice on commercial and strategic initiatives
- Advise on commercial brands, launch activities, lifecycle management, and market access initiatives
- Support commercial partnerships and alliance management across diverse international markets
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements
- Assess legal and enterprise risks while enabling compliant business decision-making
- Provide legal support for disputes, investigations, and contract-related matters, in close collaboration with country lawyers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent legal guidance across markets
- Drive continuous improvement through legal innovation, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiencies
Key requirements
- Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
- Post-qualification legal experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or leading law firm environments
- Proven ability to provide practical legal advice while balancing business objectives and risk management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills within complex international organizations
